Accreditation Criteria
The criteria to become a
keys2drive accredited driving instructor is:
- Complete the
keys2drive accreditation process including the
online accreditation course.
- Abide by the keys2drive accredited
driving instructor Code of
Practice.
- Hold a Certificate IV in driving instruction
(or equivalent before the end of 2011). If you are not sure you can
comply in the time given contact Sioban for more
information. Extensions may be provided at the discretion of the
AAA or keys2drive National Coordinator. A list of
Certificate IV in driving instruction providers can be found on
NTIS
or by contacting us.
- Use a suitable safe car for instruction
(minimum four-star ANCAP safety rating before the end of 2011). If
you don’t have a four-star ANCAP rated car, you can still
participate in the keys2drive program until the end of
2011. Extensions may be provided (at the discretion of the AAA or
keys2drive National Coordinator) More information on

- Participate in ongoing professional
self-development.
