How to apply for a free lesson
Firstly, are you eligible? You are entitled to one
free lesson if you are currently on an Australian learner's
licence.
If you are a parent/supervisor whose learner driver is
eligible, you can book
the free lesson on behalf of your learner driver. Once the
lesson has been booked, you will then need to accompany them to the
lesson.
First, check to see if keys2drive free lessons have
reached your State or Territory:
If they are not yet available, and you're registered on
keys2drive, we will let you know when they reach your
area. By registering, you also get access to the advice,
info and games on this website, and can apply for a free
lesson as soon as they arrive in your area.
If lessons are available in your area, register with
keys2drive and then apply for a
free lesson (you will be asked to login before you can
apply) and you will be given an unique free lesson ID.
Once you have your free lesson ID, simply choose
your local keys2drive accredited driving instructor
from the list. Contact a driving instructor, using
the phone details provided in the search results,
and book a lesson, quoting your free lesson ID.
Note: If you are unable to attend the
free lesson you have booked, contact your instructor and
let them know at least 24 hours in advance. If you provide 24
hours notice, you will be able to re-schedule the
lesson.
