How to book a free lesson
- TO be eligible for a keys2drive free lesson
the learner driver MUST hold an Australian learners permit.
Holders of international driving permits upgrading to an Australian
licence are NOT eligible for a keys2drive free
lesson.
- First, register with
keys2drive.
- Once you have completed registration, sign in to your account and
click on the link to get your free lesson ID.
- Search for an accredited
keys2drive driving instructor in your area.
If there are none in your suburb try the surrounding areas.
- Contact an instructor or Driving School from the list
provided, quote your free lesson ID number and book a suitable time
for you and your supervising driver (normally your mum or
dad).
Parent/Supervisors can book too!
If you are a parent/supervisor whose learner driver is eligible,
you can book the free driving lesson on their behalf.
- First, register with
keys2drive.
- When you have completed registration, sign in to your account and
click on the link to register a new learner – you’ll need your
learner’s licence/permit number and their email address.
- Once you've registered a learner driver, record their free
lesson ID number listed in the table on the main page of your
Supervisor Account (the free lesson ID will also be emailed to your
learner, along with their keys2drive account
details).
- Search for an accredited driving
instructor by area. Contact an instructor from the
list provided to book a free driving lesson time, quoting the
free lesson ID. Both you and the learner driver must attend the
free lesson.
Note: If you are unable to attend the free
lesson you have booked, contact your instructor and let them know
at least 24 hours in advance. If you provide 24 hours notice, you
will be able to re-schedule the lesson.
